Kala Jamun is a traditional dessert in India. People prefer to serve this dish in occasions, parties, and festivals and in birth day parties. Few ingredients are use for this recipe. Main ingredients are milk, khoya and sugar. Kala jamun are delicious and dark in color and very tasty dessert. Kala jamun are similar to Gulab jamun.Kala Jamun recipe Ingredients
- Khoya – 1 cup
- Pannier – ¼ cup
- Maida – ½ cup
- Sugar – ½ cup
- Milk – 2 tbsp
- Milk – 2 tbsp
- Green cardamom powder – 1 tbsp
- Ghee – for deep frying
- Water - 1 ½ cup
Kala Jamun recipe Preparation
Step 1
Take a bowl and put the grated khoya and pannier mix the content well. Add the Maida and prepare a smooth content. Make the fine rolls and press and roll them till there are no cracks. Keep it aside.
Step 2
Take a bowl and put some water and sugar bring them to a boil. Whenever the sugar dissolves now add milk to the content. Add the cardamom powder to the content and boil it till it becomes light golden color.
Step 3
Take a deep bowl and heat the ghee for deep frying. If the ghee heated then put the prepared khoya rolls on the bowl slowly. Fry the rolls till they become dark color. Pick the fried rolls and put them on sugar syrup. Soak the rolls in sugar syrup for 15 minutes. Take a serving bowl and serve the kala jamun with cold.
