Poha is a snack recipe made with flattened rice or dehusked rice or poha. It is a easy recipe for preparing.Poha recipe Ingredients
- Poha or flattened rice – 1 cup
- Chpped onions – 2medium
- Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
- Curry leaves – few
- Chopped green chillies – 3
- Turmeric powder – 1 tbsp
- Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
- Chopped coriander
- Hing for taste
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Water – 1 cup
Poha recipe Preparation
First take a bowl and put the poha on it and add some water. Keep it aside for just 1 minute only. Drain the water removes water completely. Heat a non stick pan adds oil, mustard seeds and curry leaves. Fry them for one minute. Add chopped onions and green chillies. Cook the content for 2 minutes till the onions are soft. Now put one tbsp of turmeric powder and mix the content well. Now add the poha to the prepared content till on the flame. Add salt to taste and remove the content from flame add one tbsp of lemon juice. Mix the content gently. Serve the poha in a serving bowl and garnish with chopped coriander.
