Badaam Kheer is an Indian dessert which is very tasty and smoothly recipe. This is a creamy dessert prepared with badaam and milk. The addition of ghee cardamom powder and saffron gives extra flavour to the recipe. While adding the saffron it gives not only taste but also a wonderful and rich creamy colour. - Badaam or Almonds – ½ cup
- Milk – 2 cups
- Sugar – 4 tbsp
- Cardamom powder – 2 tbsp
- Saffron – a pinch soak it on milk
Badaam Kheer recipe Preparation
Boil ½ cup of milk in a sauce pan and keep it aside. Add badaam and soak it for minimum 15 minutes. After soaking drain the badaam and peel the whole skin. Now grind the peeled badaam to a fine and smooth paste. Take a sauce pan and boil the remaining milk on it. After boiling add almond paste and 4 tbsp of sugar mix the content and cook it for 5 minutes on low flame. Stir the content continuously remove the content from flame add the cardamom powder and dissolved saffron. Take badaam kheer in a serving bowl and garnish the dish with thinly chopped badaam and pista. Keep the bowl in cool and serve it on cool.
