Mutter Paneer recipe easy how to make at home step by step

Mutter Paneer is a tasty dish. In North Indian for vegetarian peoples Mutter Paneer is one of the perfect dishes in Naan, Paratha and in roti’s. For the thickness to the dish we can use the tomato puree or tomato based sauce. For the preparation of Mutter Paneer we can use the main ingredients are Paneer, Mutter or peas, tomato sauce and garam masala is for spiciness. This dish will be served with rice, roti, chapathi, naan and poori. If we want the variation to this dish we can also add potato or sweet corn or yogurt.

Mutter Paneer recipe Ingredients

  1. Paneer – 2 cups
  2. Green peas – ½ cup boiled
  3. Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
  4. Tomato puree – 1 ½ cup
  5. Butter – 2 tbsp
  6. Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
  7. Turmeric powder – 1 tbsp
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Ingredients for thick gravy
  10. Onions – 2 medium
  11. Cashew nuts – 3 tbsp
  12. Chopped ginger – 2 inch
  13. Garlic cloves – 6

Mutter Paneer recipe Preparation 

Step 1

For the preparation of thick gravy take the chopped onions, cashew nuts, garlic cloves and chopped ginger and make a smooth paste. Keep it aside.

Step 2

Take non stick pan and melt the butter on it. Now add cumin seeds, prepared masala paste, cook it for 2 minutes. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and a little bit of water stir it for 2 minutes. And add tomato puree and salt to taste. Keep stirring occasionally. Now add the boiled green peas and paneer fry the content for 2 minutes. Till the whole masala flavors are observed by paneer and peas. Finally take the dish in a serving bowl and serve it with plane rice or roti or chapathi or naan.
