Chicken, Sausage and Zucchini Pasta Recipe


Chicken, Sausage and Zucchini Pasta recipe ingredients:


  1. 1 (16 ounce) package rotini pasta
  2. 4 (3.5 ounce) links Italian sausages, sliced
  3. 2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cubed
  4. 1 onion, chopped
  5. 1 clove garlic, minced
  6. 1 green bell pepper, diced
  7. 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning salt to taste ground black pepper to taste
  8. 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  9. 1 3/4 cups spaghetti sauce
  10. 1 (4.5 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
  11. 3 zucchinis, thickly sliced 


Chicken, Sausage and Zucchini Pasta recipe Directions:


  1. In a large pot with boiling salted water cook rotini pasta until al dente. Drain.
  2. Meanwhile, in a large pot cook Italian sausage slices until golden brown. Add chicken cubes and cook until pink or color remains in the flesh. Add the onion, garlic, green pepper, Italian seasoning, salt and black pepper and mix ground. Cover and simmer until vegetables are tender. Stir in tomatoes, spaghetti sauce, mushrooms and zucchini. Simmer until the zucchini is tender yet crisp.
  3. Toss cooked pasta with sauce. Serve hot.
