Grilled Chicken with Salsa Barbecue Sauce recipe ingredients:

  1. 1 cup salsa
  2. 3 limes, juiced
  3. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  4. 1/4 cup orange juice 1/4 cup cider vinegar 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup corn syrup
  5. 1 tablespoon dried oregano 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  6. 1 tablespoon fresh chopped cilantro, for garnish
  7. 1 (2 to 3 pound) whole chicken, cut into parts 


Grilled Chicken with Salsa Barbecue Sauce recipe directions:


  1. In a medium saucepan, combine salsa, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, orange juice, vinegar, brown sugar, corn syrup, oregano and oil. Simmer over low heat for 45 to 60 minutes.
  2. Remove sauce from heat, and add cilantro.
  3. Use to baste chicken sauce during last 20 minutes of grilling, Reservation 1/2 cup of the sauce, the cooked pieces to tack just before serving.
